Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Post) is one of the leading express delivery businesses in Vietnam, owning a network of more than 2,000 post offices, and 2,000 collection agents, with millions of customers using the service.
The huge network and the increasing number of customers using Viettel Post's services have led to an explosion in the need for email invoices to customers with nearly one million emails to be sent each month.
To improve service quality and focusing on user experience, Viettel Post has begun promoting the application of technology in operations and management, not to mention the integration of advanced technology solutions into the electronic invoices system.

To meet the infrastructure requirements of the movements mentioned above, Viettel Post has faith in the solution built by Viettel IDC and has decided to deploy it, using Amazon Simple Email Service - Amazon (SES) integrated with Viettel Post's current mail server and software to send invoices via email to end customers quickly, accurately and effectively.
Find solutions to the email backlog problem
Previously, Viettel Post used an on-premises email system to email electronic invoices to customers and shared it with serveral local systems. As Viettel Post's business has been growing, the number of emails to be sent to customers also increased dramatically. This leads to the on-premises system no longer satisfying customer needs, causing a backlog of invoice emails that cannot be sent, while the demand to send invoice emails continues to increase every single day.
At this time, Viettel Post's urgent need is to immediately replace a solution for sending invoices that is quick, cost-effective, and highly effective.
With many years of experience in the field of cloud computing in Vietnam, Viettel IDC has become a consulting and system implementation unit for Viettel Post. Viettel IDC's engineering team conducted a survey and built a solution using email marketing from Amazon Web Service - Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) for Viettel Post. This is an automatic email-sending service that is considered to have a high email deliverability at a reasonable cost and allows vendors to send up to millions of invoice emails per day, meeting the current needs of Viettel Post.
In particular, SES provides insights into a sender's email performance, makes recommendations on how to improve deliverability, and especially automatic email deliverability deployment, thereby helping Viettel Post send electronic invoice emails more effectively.
Integrating SES with the electronic invoice system has helped Viettel Post significantly improve work efficiency, handle the backlog of emails, and save costs significantly.

Amazon SES is a service for sending bulk emails with the cheapest price and best quality today (the price is only $1/10,000 emails and $0.12 for 1 GB attachment). The sending speed is very fast, as well as the ability to make emails to customers’ inboxes is always high because it is guaranteed by a third party, Amazon. In particular, the payment method is very convenient as customers only need to pay for their actual usage (Pay as you go).
Amazon SES is not only an email-sending tool but also a solution to optimize the email-sending process, helping businesses save significant costs compared to building their own email solution.
