- DNS Resolution: The request is routed to the nearest DNS server.

At this stage, the Hybrid CDN platform determines whether the request should be served by the Private CDN or the Public CDN.

- Sensitive content such as personalized information or security-related files is routed to the Private CDN.

- General high-volume content is directed to the Public CDN.

3. Content Retrieval and Caching

The selected CDN server checks its cache storage:

- Cache Hit: If the content is already cached, it is immediately delivered to the user.

- Cache Miss: If the content is unavailable, the CDN retrieves it from the origin server, stores it in cache, and then delivers it to the user.

4. Stability and Failover Protection

- Continuous Monitoring: Hybrid CDN continuously monitors the performance of all CDN providers.

- Automatic Failover: If one Public CDN performs better in a specific region, traffic can be dynamically redirected. If a CDN provider experiences issues, the system automatically switches traffic to another CDN provider through CDN failover mechanisms, ensuring uninterrupted service availability.

- Performance Insights: Traffic, speed, and delivery performance data are continuously collected.
